(Can be used with other tire sizes and other controls.  Please contact EMP with questions.)  The factory 48v Club Car Curtis control cannot be programmed to improve up hill speed, speeds listed are for flat ground.

 D&D, Club Car IQ/Excel shunt 48 Volt DC Speed Model (22-25 mph with stock 18″ tires), can be used with 18-23″ tires.

  • A fully remanufactured motor, new brushes and bearing
  • D&D speed model for OEM 48v Club Car IQ/Excel with factory Curtis control.
  • Motor spline is pre-lubricated with high performance grease to reduce shaft wear.  No rubber bumper needed, omit this part during installation.
  • 10 tooth spline
  • Remanufactured in USA by Electrical Motor Products, Inc.
  • EMP part number 170-506-0002-RM (item remanufactured by EMP, Inc D&D Motor Systems DC for 22-25 mph with factory CC Curtis control)
  • Replaces OEM part numbers EJ8-4001A (1/4″ F & 5/16″ A terminals) or EJ4-4001 (all 5/16″ terminals), D&D 170-506-0002
