Motor remanufactured and upgraded for improved performance to achieve flat ground speed of 25-27 mph with stock tires and stock control. (Can be used with other tire sizes and other controls.  Please contact EMP with questions.)  The factory 48v Club Car Curtis control cannot be programmed to improve up hill speed, speeds listed are for flat ground.

  • 1/4″ field “F” terminals, 5/16 armature “A” terminals, (This item may require a terminal hardware kit +$18 if replacing EJ4-4001 which has all 5/16″ terms)

 D&D, Club Car IQ/Excel shunt 48 Volt DC Speed Model (25-27 mph with stock 18″ tires), can be used with up to 20″ tires.

  • A Custom Design motor for additional speed (new brushes & bearing).  D&D base model customized by EMP, Inc for additional speed LR3.1b
  • D&D speed model for 48v Club Car IQ/Excel use with factory Curtis control.
  • Motor spline is pre-lubricated with high performance grease to reduce shaft wear.  No rubber bumper needed, omit this part during installation.
  • 10 tooth spline
  • Customized item made in USA by Electrical Motor Products, Inc.
  • EMP part number 170-506-0002-LR3.1b
  • 1/4″ field “F” terminals, 5/16 armature “A” terminals, (This item may require a hardware kit +$18 if replacing EJ4-4001 which has all 5/16″ terms
