AMD Club Car IQ, 48 Volt DC Motor custom designed for 22-24 MPH flat ground speed, retains torque.  Can be used with 18-23″ tires.

  • A fully remanufactured motor with added speed design for lifted or non-lifted vehicles.
  • Added features USA made, non-plastic parts including new bearing, EMP high performance brush set, brass brush holder, 4P magnet with substantial magnetic material.
  • Designed specifically for OEM 48v Club Car IQ/Excel with factory Curtis control.
  • Motor spline is pre-lubricated with high performance grease to reduce shaft wear.  No rubber bumper needed, omit this part during installation.
  • Remanufactured in USA by Electrical Motor Products, Inc (Lightning Redesign)
  • EMP part number EJ8-4001A-LR3.1
  • Replaces OEM part numbers EJ8-4001A (1/4″ & 5/16″ terminals) or EJ4-4001 (all 5/16″ terminals)
