    Expected top speed on stock Club Car, 48V (lead acid battery pack), 18" tires, driver only in free still air on hard flat level ground is 18-19 MPH.  Slightly higher top speed expected with appropriate lithium ion battery pack due to slightly higher voltage and reduced weight.  Similarly, larger OD tires will increase top speed, but not "linearly".... i.e.  changing to a tire 20% larger in OD will not increase top speed by 20%.  (For example, 22" tires, lead acid pack, 200# driver only, free still air, flat level ground calculated top speed ~20-22 MPH.)    ]]>     Club Car 48V Series GE model numbers 5BC58JBS6221B, Club Car part number 101785702
